One Day Healthy Meal Plan
Breakfast:
1-2 Slices of wholemeal or whole grain toast with butter and vegemite or 1-3 Pieces of weetbix with milk and honey
1 glass of low fat milk or 1 glass of orange juice
Recess:
A container of fruit salad (use their favourite foods so that it looks more appealing to eat)
1 tub/squeezie of plain or flavoured yogurt
Glass of orange juice
Lunch:
Ham, cheese and tomato sandwich
A box of sultanas
The rest of the fruit salad container
Some water and/or orange juice
Snack After School:
Raw vegetable sticks with cheese and crackers
A glass of water
Dinner:
Beef and vegetable lasagna or a piece of steak with some roast vegetables
A glass of water
Dessert:
Apple crumble with oats, a little bit of brown sugar, coconut and butter with a small amount of custard on the side
A glass of water or orange juice
